The April Issue of Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine features You Can’t Call It “It”! as their “Surf It” site of the month. So exciting. I’m honored to be recognized in such a way, and am grateful for my growing readership. That said, I fully recognize early 2012 was slow around here and with the renewed energy that comes with Spring, I aim to rectify that.
Thanks too to Michelle Horton and Babble.com who recognized You Can’t Call It “It”! as one of their favorite baby name sites on the web.
I have put a tremendous amount of work into YCCII for the past four years and while it can be difficult for this artistic personality to maintain an even pace blogging, I feel rejuvenated and look forward to sharing a slew of new ideas. I’ve also been open to more opportunities, which at times can get me sidetracked and take more time that I intended. I’m working on how to do it all.
For little naming snippets and tidbits in between blog posts, you can follow me on Facebook and Twitter. I would love it if you did.
Please also feel free to take this time to let me know what you would like to see in the coming months here on the site. Let’s inspire one another, and get back to naming babies!
Much Love,
Elisabeth

Way to go, Mama!
That’s awesome!
Hooray! YCCII = my fave!
Yay! I have tried looking at other baby name blogs (and still do, from time to time) but I always come back to this blog. It’s this blog that has my heart.
As for what I’d like to see, I really enjoy name themes, ideas that tie names together. One example; word names with traditional nicknames, ie. Lullaby ‘Lulu’, Fable ‘Fae’, Keeper ‘Kip’, etc.
Congratulations Elisabeth. You deserve it. We’ve missed you here lately, and look forward to seeing what’s in store.
That is so awesome Elisabeth!! I’m so stoked for you. ♥
So cool! I look forward to seeing what comes next.
That’s awesome. Glad you’ll be posting more, I’m excited to see what’s to come.
Yes, please! Looking forward to more posts since I’m in desperate need of naming inspiration: I finally have a little one on the way, so I’m not just a baby-name voyeur anymore!
Newest obsession- the Gap baby casting call. Love looking at all the babies/kids and their names. Also, I love secretly searching my kids names on it and making sure I still have the cutest Arlo….
Ps- Congrats on all the good work!
