Ohdeedoh remains a constant source of inspiration for me, for everything from baby names to decor to tips for keeping clutter at bay. I’m happy to announce that I am also now a regular contributor there. I’ll keep the name game based at You Can’t Call It “It”!, but for all other things baby and child find me over there. You can find links to my previous posts here and here.
Also, I would like to extend a warm congratulations to both Ohdeedoh and Nameberry (where I am also a contributor) on making newparent.com‘s list of top 10 websites for parents! It’s nice to be in such good company. Congratulations friends. What a way to end the year!

Clio Irene is a lovely combo, and I like the set of Ida & Lars. It’s nice to see Neve used, as well.
Phew! Elisabeth thinks my daughter’s name is intriguing ; )
-Elena’s momma
Wow, Leif Oliver’s room is wonderful. I love it.
I had a great-aunt with the name Nina, only it was pronounced NY-na, rather than NEE-na. I think it’s adorable, but I’m sure she’d only ever get called NEE-na these days. (And that’s cute too, but it has less personal significance for me.) I’m seeing Athena more often, and I really like it. Bea, Frances, and June as well. Clio Irene is a great combo – I like either name on its own a little bit, but together they are wonderful.
I had a great aunt Nina (“nye-na”) as well. I read on one of these blogs that names containing an I have been slowly changing pronunciation from an “eye” to an “ee” sound.
Congrats on joining Ohdeedoh!
I love Clio… that would have been my girl name for this pregnancy (though I like the Cleo spelling better). Still stumped on a boy name, alas.
Betsy, June, Mildred, Ida, Neve, Oscar, Ike, and Hank! And yes, Clio Irene is a lovely pairing.
Congratulations, Elisabeth, on your Ohdeedoh contributions!
I love Ida, Frances, and Lucinda. Leif appeals to my Scandinavian heritage… as does Oscar, a family name.
Did you spot my little Eulalie?
That was your room! I didn’t go back that far for this post, but that was one of my favorite rooms I’ve seen in a long time. I should add her. I think I will.
So glad you liked her room – it was a joy to create!
Please don’t amend your post for my sake – I just thought I’d check!

Ah, Eulalie’s room. I remember that one!
Ooo…some beauties. Love Athena (gorgeous!), Bell, June, Lucinda, Ezra, Gray, Kai, Leif, and Abel.
Oh my stars – so much goodness!!!
I’ve always loved Bea. And Cecily & Felicity since the days of Avonlea!
June, Nina, Felix (another Avonlea favorite!) and Graham are all great too.
Good grief, now I want some more kids!!
Eulalie is such an awesome name!
We think so too.
