Complete the Celebrity Sibset

If there’s one thing I find easier to do than name my own children, it is to name others.  Quite a few celebrity mommas are once again preggers.  We are often so quick to criticize celebrity baby name choices, now here is our chance to possibly make a difference.  Would the readers like to insinuate themselves and their opinion?  Who knows, perhaps they are reading?

Julie Bowen (Boston Legal) and husband Scott Phillips are expecting twin boys this year, the second and third children for the couple to join Oliver.  UPDATE: Gus and John are here!

Rachel Griffiths and Andrew Taylor will welcome their third, to join big brother Banjo Patrick and big sis Adelaide Rose.  This is a fun one:  what is quintessentially Australian?

Foo Fighter Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum-Grohl will have their second in April.  How do they match Violet Faye?  UPDATE:  It’s a girl!  Harper Willow.  Harper is after Grohl’s great uncle!

Tim and Elisabeth Hasselbeck wasted no time in making baby number three after big sister Grace Elisabeth and brother Taylor Thomas.

Chyler Lee and husband Nathan West expect an Aniston Kay, who will join West’s prior children Noah and Taelyn.  It’s not too late to throw out a few more ideas to Ms. Lee!  UPDATE: Aniston it is.

While she chose to be coy about it, there is no doubt Kimora Lee Simmons is expecting her third child, this time with boyfriend Djimon Honsou.  Baby will make three with Russel Simmons’ offspring Ming Lee and Aoki Lee.  UPDATE:  It’s a boy!  Kenzo is his name.

Tobey and Jennifer MaGuire await their second child, who will join big sister Ruby Sweetheart.  UPDATE: Baby boy is here… they’re keeping the name under wraps.  Ugh!!!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are expecting another in late summer/early fall, unknown gender.  What’s a good fit with Harlow Winter Kate?

Molly Ringwald and Panio Gianopoulos await fraternal boy/girl twins, to join Mathilda Ereni

Kimberly Williams-Paisley (remember Father of the Bride with Steve Martin?) and Brad Paisley are having their second as well, to join William Huckleberry.  UPDATE: 4/20 It’s a boy!  Jasper Warren.

Mira Sorvino and Chris Bakus are expecting their third.  What would you pick to follow up Mattea Angel and Johnny?

Trista and Ryan Sutter of  The Bachlorette have a baby on the way to play with Max.  UPDATE: 4/3 It’s a girl!  Blakesley Grace.

Paz Vega and Orson Salazar anticipate number two in August, to join big brother Orson.

Carnie Wilson and Rob Bonifiglio spoiled our fun by announcing that joining their daughter Lola will be baby Luciana.  Like it, or would you have chosen something else?

if they were MY sets to complete, I think I’d use:

Oliver: Julian and Tristan

Banjo Patrick & Adelaide Rose: Edge Malcolm or Clementine Lily

Violet Faye: Judah Tate or Helena Pearl

Grace Elisabeth & Taylor Thomas: Claire Annabella or Bennett James

Noah & Taelyn: Rowan Catherine

Ming Lee & Aoki Lee: Noa Lee or Taro Lee (I really had NO clue with these)

Ruby Sweetheart: Jasper Tobias or Daisy Bella

Harlow Winter Kate: Linnea Rio Noelle or Asher Stellan James

Mathilda Ereni: Archibald & Beatrix

William Huckleberry: Joseph Sawyer (why not?) or Lydia Rebecca

Mattea Angel and Johnny: Peter or Elodie

Max: Ella or Leo

Orson: Ingrid or Grant

Lola: Adah (I’ve never been fond of Lucianna).

Well Alicia hit the nail on the head, but I wonder if Rachel Griffiths would be game to try any Australian botanical names? Banksia? Wattle? It would certainly be odd, but you can’t very well call your third Tallulah after giving your other kids such quintessentially Aussie names. Of course there’s always the lovely but overused Matilda, and then Sydney (girls only, please) and a whole stack of other place names. Nameberry published a list not too long ago.

My thoughts for Orson, Ingrid, and Grant were classic Hollywood (Orson Wells, Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant).

But, I think the idea could be better executed (I just stuck in my fave old hollywood stars).
Orson, Cecil, and Audrey

How about Albany for a Rachel Griffiths 3rd. It is a place in Perth. Seems to have a simmilar style to Adelaide.

Or Kylie – thats aboriginal. Matilda? Billie perhaps?

I like Alicia’s second guess better. I see her point for the first but the flow of the second really takes it to a better level. IMHO. :)

Just saw that Melissa and Justin Beck (remember Melissa Howard from “The Real Word New Orleans”)have welcomed Shalom Mazie Beck into the world. I love the deep meaning of Shalom and the unstoppable spunkiness of Mazie. Sure to be a darling girl. Congratulations to all!

I think Elspeth goes with Violet … Elspeth Laurel?Or perhaps Iris, to stick with the flower theme – Iris Bryony, or Iris Fleur.

For Grace and Taylor: Lily Katherine or Zac Christopher.

Sorry if anyone else has already said this but I think Opal would be the perfect name for Miss Taylor, presuming they have a girl. Opals are Australia’s national gemstone, supposedly, and it has the same unique and somewhat clunky charm of Adelaide and Banjo.

Sarah Jessica Parker had her twin girls!

“Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker’s side.”

Uh-oh, just wait for Tabitha to shoot up the charts!!!
