Olive is my new love. Amazingly, dh even likes it!
Samson is such a cute name and i always forget about it but its such an assuie name!! Samson and his donkey are covered from pre-primary to graduation in Australian school.
Sorry to resurrect a dead post but I can’t let this go- The Australian war hero was SIMPSON and his donkey. To get this wrong is just too shocking for words!!!!
I like most of these — favorites are Judah, Samson, Olive, Naomi, and Beatrice.
The one I’m most surprised to see is Norma. I hadn’t thought it was ready for a comeback, but I suppose its association with Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jean Baker) helps, as does its similarity to top-5 Emma and fashionable Nora.
Ooh, Otis, Kaspar & Lucian!
Tula & Valencia are lovely as well.
And I adore Margery (in the poem), but not Marjorie. Marjorie’s middle aged to me, Margery’s sweetly medieval.
Always nice to see the little lovelies around you, Elisabeth!
Funny, I copied and pasted Marjorie– without noticing the spelling. I think it should be Margery. To me, they are both pretty.
